Hire each trade separately and the drainage problem becomes everyone's fault but no one's job. With Blue Tree, five divisions answer to one team and one contract.
Every Blue Tree designer hears the same three concerns. Here's how we handle each one, before you have to ask.
A real investment, and we never spring a surprise number on you. Your designer value-engineers the project to fit your budget: swap materials, adjust scope, or phase the work. Financing is available too.
We give honest timelines, even when we're booked a few months out. That wait is the reason you're considering us: people trust us enough to wait for quality work. A couple of summer months buys decades of enjoyment.
Read our Google reviews, walk our portfolio, and ask about our 13 to 14 year average tenure and 43 year history through the 2008 recession and the pandemic. We'll connect you with past clients near you, or meet our team and read our story. Companies that cut corners don't survive four decades.
Three structural differences. Blue Tree Outdoor Living runs Pools, Landscapes, Hardscapes, Healthy Yards, and Premier Outdoor Services in-house under one roof, with one designer leading every project. The team carries 13 to 14 year average employee tenure and over 100 years of combined design experience across 8 or more degreed designers. Pricing is transparent: named ranges, itemized proposals, and a fixed-scope quote, instead of the contractor pattern of low-bid-then-up-charge. Forty-three years of Southeastern PA experience sits underneath it.
Blue Tree Outdoor Living provides lasting value rather than the lowest price. The pricing reflects degreed designers, premium materials, proper base preparation, and comprehensive warranties. Blue Tree also offers phased project approaches and financing options to make a project more manageable. When you compare the total cost of coordinating several separate contractors against one team handling everything, the single-team approach is often more cost-effective in the end.
Designers, not salespeople. Blue Tree Outdoor Living has eight or more designers and sales professionals on staff with over 100 years of combined design experience. Several hold degrees from Delaware Valley College, Penn State, and similar landscape architecture or horticulture programs. The designer leads the discovery, draws the plan, manages the build, and stays with you through warranty. As Jérôme Besnard puts it, "We're more designers than salesmen." Compensation isn't structured around closing on the first visit.
The lifetime structural warranty covers the structural integrity of every concrete pool shell Blue Tree Outdoor Living builds, for as long as the original homeowner owns the property. Structural integrity means the shell stays watertight and intact under normal use. Cosmetic finishes like plaster and tile have their own warranty terms. The lifetime warranty exists because concrete pools, built right by certified construction managers like Mike Wadsworth (Certified Building Professional, concrete pool concentration) and Cliff Doratt, are engineered to outlast the homeowner's tenure in the home.
Blue Tree Outdoor Living runs in-house crews on every concrete pool build, with Senior Pool Construction Manager Mike Wadsworth (Certified Building Professional) leading pool construction alongside Cliff Doratt, who joined the team in March 2026 (combined 53+ years of pool construction industry experience). National builders typically subcontract local installs, which means crew quality varies project to project. Blue Tree's depth in Southeastern PA (43 years, seven-county focus) also matters for navigating township permits, impervious surface ordinances, and the freeze-thaw cycle. Same designer from first visit through warranty, same crew through construction.
You call your designer or Blue Tree Outdoor Living's service team. Blue Tree crews handle the response directly. With 13 to 14 year average employee tenure, the person who built the project is still on staff when the issue surfaces. The lifetime structural warranty backs the pool shell, the 3-year Jandy workmanship covers equipment, the 2-year hardscape warranty covers patios and walls, and the 1-year landscape replacement covers plant material. In-house crews mean no finger-pointing between trades.
No. Blue Tree Outdoor Living builds custom concrete pools only. We don't do vinyl liner pools, fiberglass pools, or above-ground pools. The reason is structural longevity: a vinyl liner needs replacement every 5 to 10 years, and a fiberglass shell limits you to whatever shapes the manufacturer trucks in. Concrete pools, built right, carry a lifetime structural warranty. That structural confidence is why Blue Tree chose concrete only when we launched pool construction in 2011. Concrete and gunite spas integrated with the pool itself are in scope and serviced; standalone hot tubs are not on offer today.
A custom concrete inground pool in Southeastern PA runs $80,000 to $160,000 for a complete Blue Tree Outdoor Living build, including 3D rendering, township permits, excavation, gunite shell, plaster, decking, and Jandy equipment. The lifetime structural warranty on every shell and the 10-year Quality Finish plaster warranty come standard. Final pricing depends on size, shape, plaster grade, decking selection, accessories, features, and surrounding hardscape.
Absolutely. Blue Tree Outdoor Living regularly works with homeowners to phase a project over time. Your designer identifies the base platform, the elements that need to happen first for structural and drainage reasons, and then schedules later phases like lighting or landscape enhancements when you're ready. Phasing keeps the overall design cohesive while making the investment more manageable, so you can build the right project in stages rather than compromise the design to fit a single budget cycle.
Yes. Blue Tree Outdoor Living partners with three specialized pool and home improvement lenders: HFS Financial, Viking Capital, and Lyon Financial. Each has different rate structures and term options, so the right lender depends on the project size, your credit profile, and whether you want a secured or unsecured loan. Blue Tree doesn't do in-house financing because specialized lenders give homeowners better terms than a contractor could match. Pre-qualification is a soft credit pull that won't affect your score.
