Blue Tree Outdoor Living was founded in 1983 in Norristown, PA, and has been building outdoor living spaces across Southeastern PA for 43 years. The company moved its headquarters to Schwenksville in 2008. The team has grown to 70 to 90 employees during peak season, with a 13 to 14 year average tenure. Pool construction launched in 2011 (15 years), and the pool service division added in 2023. Many of today's designers and crew members started with Blue Tree more than a decade ago.
Blue Tree Outdoor Living runs five service pillars: Pools, Landscapes, Hardscapes, Healthy Yards (turf and lawn care), and Premier Outdoor Services (ongoing maintenance and seasonal care). Most projects combine pillars: a pool build with surrounding hardscape, a landscape refresh with new lighting, or a full backyard transformation pulling all five together. One designer leads across all pillars, so you don't coordinate between separate contractors. That's why Blue Tree calls itself an outdoor living company, not a pool builder or a landscaper.
Blue Tree Outdoor Living serves Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Berks, and Philadelphia Counties across Southeastern PA. Our headquarters is at 4494 Skippack Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473, and we design and install throughout the seven-county region. We know the township permit process in Skippack, Lower Providence, Worcester, Doylestown, West Chester, and the rest of our service area.
A custom concrete inground pool in Southeastern PA runs $80,000 to $160,000 for a complete Blue Tree Outdoor Living build, including 2D rendering, township permits, excavation, gunite shell, plaster, decking, and Jandy equipment. The lifetime structural warranty on every shell and the 10-year Quality Finish plaster warranty come standard. Final pricing depends on size, shape, plaster grade, decking selection, accessories, features, and surrounding hardscape.
Designers, not salespeople. Blue Tree Outdoor Living has eight or more designers and sales professionals on staff with over 100 years of combined design experience. Several hold degrees from Delaware Valley College, Penn State, and similar landscape architecture or horticulture programs. The designer leads the discovery, draws the plan, manages the build, and stays with you through warranty. As Jérôme Besnard puts it, "We're more designers than salesmen." Compensation isn't structured around closing on the first visit.
