How We Work: From Vision
to Reality, and Beyond

Every Blue Tree Outdoor Living project follows a proven three-phase workflow: Design, Build, and Maintain. Each phase has a clear owner, deliverables, and next step. After completion, the Blue Tree service resources keep FAQs, care instructions, and warranty information in one place.

One Team From Design Through Ongoing Care

Blue Tree Outdoor Living coordinates design and production through one project team, with ongoing care available after construction. The designer stays involved as the work moves from planning into construction, while the construction manager leads daily site logistics. That continuity keeps the approved plan connected to the work in the field.

Phase 1: Design. It Starts With a Conversation.

Every Blue Tree project begins with a conversation, not a sales pitch. A Blue Tree designer visits your property, walks the space with you, and listens to how you want to use it. The designer also evaluates grade, drainage, sunlight, soil, and the practical conditions that shape the plan.

The consultation is free and carries no obligation. Blue Tree earns the work by showing what is possible, without pressuring you to decide. Read the landscape design consultation guide before your visit.

Phase 2: Build With Design Continuity

During construction, the construction manager leads daily site logistics and the designer stays involved to protect the approved plan. The designer coordinates with the project manager and installation crews. Design questions stay with the project team, and the field work stays aligned with the property conditions reviewed during planning.

Blue Tree's five service divisions (Pools, Landscapes, Hardscapes, Healthy Yards, and Premier Outdoor Services) work under one roof, so grading, drainage, lighting, pool, and hardscape details stay coordinated.

Phase 3: Maintain the
Finished Property

Premier Outdoor Services gives Blue Tree clients one team for seasonal cleanups, planting care, hardscape upkeep, pool service, and year-round property maintenance after construction.

The team already knows the property, the approved design, and the systems installed during the build. Some Blue Tree client relationships span 25 to 30 years and now include more than one generation.

Common Questions

A custom concrete pool schedule in Southeastern PA depends on design scope, municipal review, engineering needs, site access, weather, inspections, material availability, and the surrounding landscape or hardscape work. Concrete also requires planned cure time. Blue Tree explains the current sequence and scheduling availability after the property and approved scope are reviewed.

Every Blue Tree Outdoor Living project is custom, so there is no single price, but we are transparent about what drives it: pool size and shape, materials, your property's grade and access, and how much hardscape, landscape, and lighting wrap around it. Most clients invest in a complete outdoor living space, pool, patio, plantings, and lighting, as one coordinated project rather than piecing it together over years. We design to your budget: if the full vision is more than you want to spend right now, your designer will show you how to phase it. Financing is available through our lending partners, and your free on-site consultation ends with a clear, itemized proposal, so you know the real number before you commit.

Blue Tree Outdoor Living's Complete Backyard Process runs 7 stages: Consultation and Listening Session, Design and 2D Rendering, Transparent Proposal, Permitting and Engineering, Construction and Build, Walkthrough and Education, and Ongoing Care. The design phase includes a CAD plan, a 3D rendering showing the project in the context of your full property, and multiple revisions at no extra cost. Your designer leads every stage, so you don't get handed off between sales and project management.

Yes. Your designer is your point of contact from the first site visit through construction, final walkthrough, and warranty period. That's a structural choice, not a marketing line. With 13 to 14 year average employee tenure across the company, the person designing your project is likely still here when you call three years later about an addition. No handoffs between sales and project management. The designer's name goes on the project file.

Yes. Blue Tree Outdoor Living coordinates the permit and HOA materials included in the approved project scope. Requirements and review times vary by municipality, property, association, and project. Blue Tree confirms the applicable approval path during design and incorporates current review information into the project schedule.

A dedicated Blue Tree Outdoor Living project manager runs the site through every active build day. You'll see the same crew faces from start to finish because Blue Tree uses in-house crews, not subcontractors, on the core trades. Daily site updates on progress and decisions go to you. The site gets restored before walkthrough: final grading, seed, and straw on disturbed turf, complete cleanup of construction debris. Your designer stays involved through the final walkthrough.

Project start windows depend on the season, project type, municipality, site conditions, approved scope, and current crew availability. Blue Tree reviews those factors after the consultation and confirms the next available window with the homeowner.

Three Phases. One Designer.
Six Steps from Vision to Care.

During construction, the construction manager leads daily logistics and the designer stays involved to protect the approved plan. Because Pools, Landscapes, Hardscapes, Healthy Yards, and Premier Outdoor Services operate under one roof, grading, drainage, lighting, planting, and hardscape details stay coordinated. You have a clear point of contact without subcontractor handoffs.

Phase 1: Design

Led by your Pool or Landscape Designer.

Step 01: Free On-Site Consultation. We meet at your property, walk the space, understand your vision, and assess site conditions.

Step 02: Custom Design and 3D Presentation. Your designer creates a custom plan with 3D renderings so you can see the finished space before we break ground.

Step 03: Proposal and Budget Alignment. Clear pricing, honest timelines, no surprises. You approve everything before construction begins.

Phase 2: Build

Led by your Project Manager. Your designer stays involved.

Step 04: Permitting and Pre-Construction. We handle township permits, HOA approvals, utility marking, and site preparation.

Step 05: Construction and Installation. Our crews execute the build with the designer who drew the plans staying involved through every phase.

Step 06: Final Walkthrough and Project Completion. Quality check, equipment orientation, warranty documentation, and full project handoff.

Phase 3: Maintain

Ongoing care from the team that built it.

Healthy Yards programs for lawn fertilization, weed control, aerating, seeding, and seasonal turf care across residential, commercial, and athletic field properties.

Pool services for opening, closing, weekly maintenance, water chemistry, and equipment service from certified construction managers with 53+ years of combined pool expertise.

Premier Outdoor Services for landscape lighting, seasonal cleanup, mulching, pruning, and the seasonal care your investment deserves.

Lifetime structural warranty on every Blue Tree Outdoor Living pool shell. The person who built it is still here when you call.
