Blue Tree was founded in 1983 and has designed and built outdoor living spaces across Southeastern Pennsylvania for more than four decades. We have grown to 70 to 90 team members and now build for the children of clients we first worked with 25 years ago.

Custom concrete inground pools from Blue Tree generally range from $75,000 to $200,000 or more for the pool alone. Complete backyard projects that add the patio, landscape, and lighting often run $150,000 to $400,000 or more. Pool size, finishes, water features, equipment, site conditions, and township requirements drive the number, and every project starts with a free consultation and an itemized proposal.

Permitting can run 8 to 16 weeks depending on the township, and active construction takes another 8 to 16 weeks once ground breaks. Weather, site conditions, and the scope of surrounding landscape and hardscape work all affect the schedule. Families who start the design process in fall or winter are positioned to swim the following summer.

Blue Tree builds custom concrete (gunite and shotcrete) inground pools shaped on site, including geometric, freeform, lap, and plunge pools, with integrated spas, benches, and water features. We have been building pools for 15 years using premium Jandy (Fluidra) equipment, and every shell carries a lifetime structural warranty.

Yes. Townships across our service area require building permits, and most require electrical permits as well. Many also enforce impervious surface limits that affect pool size and decking area. Blue Tree handles permitting in-house, from filing the applications to coordinating township inspections.

Yes. Our Premier Outdoor Services division offers pool opening and closing, weekly maintenance, and equipment service. Because our team built your pool, they know your specific equipment and maintain it to the same standard we built it.

Blue Tree provides full landscape design and installation, including planting design, native gardens, foundation plantings, drainage solutions, LED landscape lighting, fencing, and drip irrigation. Our degree-holding designers create custom plans with CAD software and 3D renderings.

Yes. Plant material carries a one-year, one-time replacement warranty from the date of installation, covering weather-related loss such as heat waves and harsh winters. It does not cover loss from homeowner over- or under-watering. We source about 90 percent of our plant material from local growers.

Our region spans USDA hardiness zones 6b and 7a with clay-heavy soils, so we design for four-season interest and long-term performance using plants proven in local conditions. Deer pressure, freeze-thaw cycles, and drainage all factor into the plant selection for your specific property.

Landscape projects vary widely based on scope, from a foundation planting refresh to a complete property transformation. Every project starts with a free on-site consultation and an itemized proposal, so you see exactly what you are getting before any work begins.

Your plan is created by one of our degree-holding landscape designers, who walks your property, listens to your goals, and develops the design using CAD software and 3D renderings. The same team that designs your landscape installs it.

Blue Tree designs and installs paver patios, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls, fire pits and fireplaces, walkways, and complete backyard oasis projects. Our hardscape division is led by an ICPI-certified installer, and all work complies with township building codes.

Hardscape workmanship carries a two-year warranty on patios, walkways, and all installations. If an issue arises, we write up a work order and schedule a repair, with no runaround.

A properly installed paver patio lasts for decades. The key is the base. Blue Tree excavates to the correct depth, compacts the proper aggregate, and accounts for drainage and freeze-thaw movement, which is what separates a patio that holds from one that shifts.

Many townships require permits for hardscape work, especially retaining walls over a certain height and projects that affect impervious surface or stormwater. Blue Tree confirms and handles the specific requirements for your township during the site evaluation.

Healthy Yards is Blue Tree's turf care division, offering lawn fertilization programs, aeration and overseeding, weed control, and mosquito and tick treatments. Mark, our turf care manager with 20 years of experience, oversees every program personally.

There is no formal warranty on grass seed due to environmental variables, but Blue Tree follows up on seeding work as standard practice, because doing right by our customers matters more than fine print. Mosquito and tick treatments include re-treatment at no additional cost if results are unsatisfactory after an application.

Most lawns in our region benefit from a multi-step seasonal program timed to spring green-up, summer stress, and fall recovery. Clay-heavy soils and Zone 6b and 7a temperature swings shape the schedule, which is built into every Healthy Yards program.

Yes. Healthy Yards includes seasonal mosquito and tick treatments to make your outdoor space more comfortable and safer, with re-treatment at no additional cost if results are unsatisfactory after an application.

In Southeastern PA, early fall is the prime window for aeration and overseeding, when soil is still warm, nights are cooler, and weed pressure is lower. Our team times the work to your lawn's specific conditions.

Premier Outdoor Services is Blue Tree's maintenance division, keeping your entire outdoor investment performing year-round. Services include pool opening and closing, paver restoration, bed maintenance, seasonal clean-ups, pruning, mulching, and more, all managed through a single point of contact.
