The homeowners were preparing their property to host a backyard wedding and wanted to refresh both the front and rear outdoor spaces. The goal was a welcoming, functional landscape that would look beautiful for the event and last for years afterward.
At the front, the existing landscape was over 25 years old. We removed the outdated plant material while carefully preserving three sentimental anchor plantings, then introduced new plantings for seasonal color and staggered bloom times, with landscape lighting and a drip irrigation system. The rear yard was completely reimagined with a detached covered patio and a dedicated grilling area for hosting.
To improve flow, we installed a new walkway connecting the driveway to the covered porch, the new patio, and a sitting area outside the home office, built with Kennedy Blue Mountain stone for natural character. New landscaping, lighting, and drip irrigation tie the entire outdoor space together.
