Meet The Team

Jeff has been involved in the business since 1983. As president, he oversees all aspects of the company and the day to day operations. Jeff specializes in the landscape, hardscape, and pool installations for Blue Tree Landscaping as well as sales for the company. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and lives in Upper Providence with his wife, Maureen and he has four children. When not working, Jeff enjoys reading books on the beach, fishing trips, biking on the trails, vacationing with his family and floating in a pool with his favorite beverage.

Chad joined Blue Tree in 1994 and shortly after became part owner. Chad manages the daily operations and productivity of the maintenance crews. He studied at Delaware Valley College and is an expert in turf care management. He also holds a ICPI certification for hardscape installation. Chad lives in Upper Providence with his wife, Anique and they have two children. In his spare time, Chad enjoys watching his daughter’s archery tournaments as well as hunting, fishing and vacationing with his family.

Tim started working at Blue Tree as a landscape designer in 2012 and was promoted to Sales Director in 2021. He has a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Environmental Design. In his new position, Tim supervises and oversees the sales team. He is also responsible for training new designers and managing project needs.

Fred joined the Blue Tree team in 2014 and brings over thirty-five years of landscape experience to our company. He is a Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturist with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Delaware Valley University. In his spare time, Fred enjoys his family’s equestrian sports as well as running in trail and obstacle races. He is the owner of Springview Farms, a horse farm in the Harleysville area. Fred is also a Vice President of Mounted Games Across America.

Mark is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Turfgrass Science. He has 15 years of experience in the turf industry and has spent the last four years at Blue Tree managing the residential and commercial lawn care department. His previous experiences included professional and NCAA athletic field management, golf course management, and university research. When not meeting with his clients, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and taking in the outdoors. His favorite vacation spots are the Jersey Shore, Maine and the Poconos.

Tom joined our team in 2010. He has a lot of experience in landscape construction, equipment repair and equipment operations. He also has thirty plus years in the farming industry. In his spare time, Tom likes golfing, listening to live music, time with his family, and enjoying all aspects of sports.

John started at Blue Tree in 2018 and has twenty-four years of experience in hardscaping, concrete, and landscaping. He studied business at BCCC. When not working with the sales team and his crews, he enjoys hiking, golfing and traveling.

Justin joined our team in 2019. He is an absolute subject matter expert when it comes to anything related to creating outdoor spaces, with a specialty in designing inground concrete pools! With over ten years of rich and robust experience in the pool industry, he truly enjoys the entire process from designing to the final walk-through with a customer of their new space. He has an amazing eye for design, is highly detail-oriented, and always strives to deliver above our customer’s expectations! Justin received his degree in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University in NJ. He was born and raised in NJ and in his free time he enjoys spending time relaxing with his wife, two children, and his dog, Toby!

John became a member of our team in 2016. He received a two year degree from Rutgers Golf Course Turf Management School and has twenty five years experience in the golf course industry as an assistant and superintendent. He is a former member of both the Golf Course Superintendents and the Philadelphia Association of Golf Course Superintendents. John also has a lot of experience in commercial services and snow management. When he’s not managing the commercial and residential mowing, or doing proposals, John likes to spend quality time with his wife, family and friends.

James has been working at Blue Tree since 2017 but has had an interest in landscaping since he was fifteen. He is ICPI Certified and excels in plant and tree identification. Throughout his career, he has had experience in building ponds, as well as doing natural stonework and masonry. When not working, James likes camping, playing pool and spending time with his family. James is a former member of the United States Marine Corps.

Nancy joined Blue Tree in 2014 to help manage the financial end of the growing business. She has an accounting degree from Penn State University and over twenty five years accounting experience with leadership roles at various service and hospitality companies in areas including financial, payroll, and cash management. She also has experience in business management disciplines including HR, benefits management and IT accounting and POS systems implementation. When Nancy isn’t meeting with the owners or working on spreadsheets, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, is an active sports parent, and appreciates time on the beach and being outdoors.

Maureen joined the Blue Tree team in 2016 after being a stay at home mom for twenty plus years. Although the marketing world has become very digital since the last time she was employed, Maureen welcomes the challenge of learning all about it. She is a graduate of Bloomsburg University and when not working on promotional material or posting our latest jobs to social media, Maureen enjoys listening to country music, taking long bike rides and vacationing at the Jersey Shore with her family.

Aggie started at Blue Tree in 2008 and has really enjoyed being an asset to the company’s growth. She handles all the account payables, attends to the many incoming phone calls and offers other administrative support to Blue Tree. Aggie likes cooking, gardening, and watching movies but her favorite time is spent with her grandson!

Robin started at Blue Tree in 2019 and has really caught on to the fast-past working environment here at Blue Tree. She brings with her twenty plus years experience as a support person in HR, training and accounting as well as a degree in business management. When not crunching financial numbers, Robin enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and being outdoors. She also earned her 1st degree Black Belt in American Kenpo.

John was hired in 2018 and has twenty four years of pool building experience. John has a degree in Business Management, is in the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals and has a Certified Building Professional Certificate. When not overseeing his pool projects with Blue Tree, John really enjoys visiting his six grandchildren as much as possible.

Mike started at Blue Tree in April 2019 and brought with him twenty years of experience in the landscaping industry. He is Kafmo certified “Keystone Athletic Field Maintenance Organization” and is bilingual. Mike also has a good knowledge of the hardscaping industry. He has a degree in history and criminal justice and also studied psychology at Shippensburg University. When not managing his crews, Mike is managing his children and their activities; his oldest is a swimmer for HHAA and Team USA and his youngest is active in soccer and basketball. Mike also enjoys playing in his competitive men’s softball league on Sunday mornings.

Mike joined our team in March 2021 and now has twenty four years’ experience in the industry with a background in carpentry and general contracting. He is also an expert machine operator. Mike enjoys the outdoors camping, hiking, fishing, archery, vegetable gardens, and spending time with his wife.

Andrew has always been a part of the BTL family. He has been learning this business since a young age, worked summers through high school and college and was a hardscaping foreman for three years. Andrew graduated from Penn College of Technology in 2021 with a degree in Landscape Design/Construction. In 2022, he was promoted and now spends his day meeting clients and developing designs. In his spare time, Andrew likes to golf, watch sports and vacation anywhere tropical.

Jose started his career with us in 2011 running a commercial mowing crew and in 2022, he was promoted to production manager. Jose has twenty-two years in the landscaping industry. On days off from managing his crews, he likes to play soccer and listen to music.

Stephen started at Blue Tree working summers and college breaks from 2020-2022. He has experience doing softscape and hardscape installations. After graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Contracting in 2022, Stephen was hired to our Landscape Design/Sales team. He meets with clients daily, creates designs and prepares estimates. His hobbies include golfing, working out and spending time with friends.

Andrew has six years’ experience in the landscaping field and started working with Blue Tree in 2020. In 2023, he was promoted to Pool Service Technician where he is tasked with educating clients on proper pool care as well as providing pool maintenance services. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Temple University and a Pool & Spa Maintenance Certificate from the Pool & Hot Professionals Association. Andrew loves to exercise, cook and spend time with his family.

Pat is a graduate of The Penn State University with a degree in Landscape Contracting. Pat is on his second tour with us here at Blue Tree Landscaping as a Landscape Designer! He has a robust background spending his early professional career in the landscape industry and then he entered the pharmaceutical industry for the past twenty years and has held many roles in sales, marketing, people management, business development and operations. Pat has returned to his “roots”…working in the landscape industry, and to reunite with Jeff, Chad and the entire Blue Tree team!

Pat and his wife Samantha are the proud parents of three dogs (Hector, Mack & Mongo) and one cat (Lucy). They enjoy staying healthy, being outdoors, watching Penn State Football and they are big fans of the Chicago Bears!
