An outdoor kitchen turns the patio from a place you pass through into the place everyone gathers. Blue Tree designs and builds outdoor kitchens that match the way you cook and entertain, built into the hardscape to last through our winters. For 43 years, our ICPI-certified crews have built outdoor living spaces across Southeastern Pennsylvania.
An outdoor kitchen is part appliance, part masonry, and part design, and most companies are good at only one. Blue Tree designs the kitchen into the patio and the way you actually cook, then builds the structure in masonry and stone rated for the outdoors, with proper gas, electric, and drainage roughed in from the start. Counter heights, the work triangle, and storage are planned for real use, not just looks. Blue Tree builds with Belgard, Techo-Bloc, and natural stone, handles permits and utilities in-house, and has built across Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Berks, and Philadelphia Counties since 1983.

Outdoor kitchens from Blue Tree typically run from about $25,000 for a built-in grill island to $100,000 or more for a full kitchen with pizza oven, refrigeration, bar seating, and a fireplace, as of 2026. Appliances, masonry, counters, and utility runs drive the number. Every project starts with a free consultation and an itemized proposal.
It can be used in every season, though most cooking happens spring through fall. Blue Tree builds with outdoor-rated appliances and weatherproof storage, and adds fireplaces or heaters where clients want to push into the shoulder seasons. Water lines are designed to be winterized so nothing freezes and splits.
Common choices include built-in grills, side burners, smokers, wood-fired or gas pizza ovens, outdoor-rated refrigerators and ice makers, prep sinks, and beverage centers. Blue Tree designs the layout around the appliances you actually want and builds them into masonry rather than setting freestanding units against a wall.
Usually, yes. Built-in grills, refrigeration, lighting, and sinks need gas, electric, water, and drainage roughed into the build. Blue Tree handles those utility runs and the related permits in-house during construction, which is far cleaner than retrofitting them later.
Active construction usually runs 2 to 5 weeks depending on size and the masonry involved, with permitting and material lead times adding a few weeks up front. A simple grill island is faster; a full kitchen with a pizza oven and fireplace takes longer. Your designer manages the schedule and keeps you updated.
