Blue Tree serves communities across Chester County, from the Main Line towns of Devon, Berwyn, Paoli, and Malvern to West Chester, Exton, Phoenixville, and the Brandywine Valley around Kennett Square and Chadds Ford. We work from our headquarters in Skippack and also design and build throughout Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, Lehigh, Berks, and Philadelphia Counties. If you are not sure whether your town is in our service area, call us at (610) 222-0590 and we will confirm.
Blue Tree is a full-service design-build firm. We handle custom inground pool construction, landscape design and installation, hardscaping such as paver patios, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls, fire pits, and walkways, Healthy Yards turf care programs, and Premier Outdoor Services maintenance. Because every service is delivered in-house by one team, your pool, patio, planting, and lighting are designed and built as one integrated project rather than handed off to separate contractors.
Blue Tree was founded in 1983 and has designed and built across the Philadelphia suburbs, including Chester County, for more than four decades. Our headquarters has been in Skippack since 2008. Over that time we have grown to 70 to 90 team members and now build for the children of clients we first worked with 25 years ago.
Yes. Blue Tree handles the permitting process in-house, from applications through inspections, in Chester County townships. Requirements vary by municipality, and the strict Main Line townships along with the larger estate and equestrian properties carry their own impervious surface limits, stormwater rules, and design standards that affect pool size, patio area, and drainage. Your designer confirms the specific requirements for your township during the on-site evaluation.
Chester County spans USDA hardiness zones 6b and 7a, with clay and rocky Piedmont soils, pockets of serpentine and diabase rock, freeze-thaw winters, and significant deer pressure across its rural and wooded communities. Rocky ground and shallow bedrock can complicate excavation for pools and footings. Those conditions shape every plan we create, from plant selection and drainage design to how pavers and pool shells are based, so the design fits your specific property.
Every project starts with a free on-site consultation. A Blue Tree designer, not a salesperson, walks your property, listens to how you want to use the space, and discusses your budget. From there you receive a custom design with 3D renderings and an itemized proposal, so you see exactly what you are getting before any work begins.
